Okay, so by now a lot of you will know that I really like Lush. Super really like them. (I like Lush so much I use bad English to describe how much.) As a big fan, I had to visit the original store. And so mid way along Poole Highstreet, through the blue doors I found myself searching for all my favourite goodies. Did I also mention that the Poole store stocks some of the Oxford Street Exclusives?
29 High Street Fragrance
This fragrance is 100% exclusive to the Poole store. Why do I hear you ask? Because it is named after the Poole store and so it is only fair that you can only get it at 29 High Street. This fragrance is designed to smell just like the Lush shops and if I am completely honest it does. 29 High Street is packed with beautiful essential oils like ylang ylang, sandalwood, lemon and lime. It is sweet, floral and zesty all at the same time.
Love Soap
The #Gayisok campaign may have ended but it’s message still lives on in my bathroom. Love Soap has the same smell as the love fragrance and fizzbanger bath bomb. Personally I think it smells like toffee apple. It is hard to tell from the picture but the soap also has glitter on the top. Man I love me some glitter. Even though the glitter is just on the top layer I was told that the glitter sort of melts into the soap so that the soap shimmers all the way through.
Frozen Bath Bomb
I love neroli and this bath bomb is neroli-ishous. When you smell it you can also detect a small whiff of grapefruit. This bath bomb is super uplifting. I am not entirely sure what it looks like in the water yet, but I have to admit that I am looking forward to finding out. I am hoping for lots of glitter!
Tangled Hot Oil Treatment
When I first saw these I wasn’t 100% sure what they were, but I have heard many people rave about them on the internet, so I thought I would give them a try. Tangled is fantastic at- strangely enough- untangling hair, but there are also loads of other hot oil treatments. Simply melt into some hot water and pop it straight onto the hair. Leave for twenty minutes and then rinse. This one contains loads of jojoba oil and olive oil which are both perfect at helping untangle hair.
Cup O’Coffee Exfoliating Mask
This one certainly smells like a cup o’coffee for sure. Although the mixture is coarse it is kind on the skin. It also doesn’t have to be kept in the fridge. Caffeine powder and coffee infusion revitalise and awaken. Use this one if you are after a brighter complexion.
Whoosh Temple Balm
Okay, so I have to admit that I actually got this one from the Bath store. But since Lush Poole is a spa store I assume you can pick this one up from there too. Whoosh temple balm has the same smell as the whoosh shower jelly and functions exactly the same as the dream time temple balm (to find out more about the whoosh jelly and dream time balm see my previous Lush related blog posts.) This one contains jojoba oil, grapefruit oil and also geranium oil. It smells so delicious!
